...and peace is what they sought
Peacekeepers facilitate restitution or conciliation meetings, to help you settle disputes.
Peacekeeper Mediation offers an opportunity for participants to progress towards a mutually satisfying outcome, while also expressing their interests openly & fairly in a collaborative environment.
We work with parties to assist them in reaching agreements, by virtue of a binding Memorandum Of Understanding.
Our peacekeepers are highly skilled, with experience in civil mediation, tribal based peace circles, & restorative justice.
We also work with communities or individuals by facilitating healing & support circles, using tribal approaches.
Throughout the process, our peacekeepers continually screen for power imbalances & abuse with each case in order to ensure safe spaces for participants.
At Peacekeeper Mediation, we adhere to strict confidentiality.
You can trust that our peacekeepers are unbiased, neutral third partys to your negotiations.
Practicing in the conflict resolution sector since 2009, Jabala began her field studies as a restorative justice facilitator for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, in Chase, and then later, Kamloops, BC. Soon after she was invited to train & work with RCMP in victim services as a crisis support worker, gaining valuable experience. In 2010 Jabala became a founding member of 2010 BC Restorative Justice Conference, held in May 2010 in Abbotsford, BC, which ultimately led to improvements of Restorative Justice models in the Province. She later shifted into Peacemaking Circle Facilitation using ancient teachings of tribal roots.
She studied at the Justice Institute of BC, earning a Specialization in Mediation & 3rd Party Intervention and also became a Family Law Mediator & qualified Negotiator.
When founding her private practice, Jabala decided to adapt her mediation practice to include tribal strategies, personalizing the approach by implementing knowledge & teachings of her tribal nation. As a Secwepemc matriarch & mother, Jabala feels a strong obligation to use a nurturing approach rather than punitive one.

Growing up in the Secwepemc Tribe, Daysam believes each individual makes up the larger parts of a peaceful & safe society - all of us being responsible for collaboration toward the greater good.
Daysam's interest in conflict resolution manifested during the era of reconciliation talk, between the auspices of Canadian colonialism & that of Tribal genocide, His curiosities led him to research the impact that the criminal justice system has on indigenous youth. His appreciation for community based models regarding justice & crime prevention grew from there..
He's trained & qualified as a Restorative Justice Facilitator in 2016 when he certified under the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, E Division, in Chase BC.
Daysam is a key facilitator for Peacekeeper Mediation, having a logical mind & love of nature, & a big heart for humanity.
His goal includes qualifying as a Peacemaking Circle Facilitator, where he will then focus solely on tribal based approaches, implementing strategies from his own cultural background.
